Climate
The average annual temperatures vary from 25 to 35°C, often reaching 40°C in April and May, the hottest months. The most pleasant months are from November to March, when humidity is low and the temperatures between 25 and 30°C. The hot summer monsoon (from May to October, between 30 and 35°C) is recommended for the visits of the temples of Angkor because from February to April, it’s too hot.
At this time of year, the rain showers occur often at the end of the afternoon, lasting 60 to 90 minutes.
On the islands, the temperatures are always pleasant due to the ocean breeze.
The double barrier formed by Thailand (Puhket) and Indonesia effectively protects Cambodia from possible Tsunami.
